2020 Style Wish List

2020 Style Wish List

It’s 2020 and we’ve all had our eyes on some items that we haven’t yet gotten. One of my New Year’s resolutions is to be better with my money. Unfortunately, that means less shopping, and more paying off debt. So here is my list of 2020’s must haves (but can’t buy right now.)

1. Leopard Lined Jean Jacket

I have been eyeing a jacket like this for so long. They look so warm and trendy! This one is from Anthropologie, and made by Levi’s. This type of jacket is very hard to come by due to it’s popularity. Anthropologie only has two sizes left! I’ve found similar jackets online, but they were also completely sold out, or only had like one size left.

2. Satin Shirt Dress

There are two things that are going to be big in 2020. The first one is 70’s inspired pieces. We’ll get to the second one next.  I really love that we are super into vintage inspired looks right now. The high neck line, the square bottom, and the sleekness all scream (in an Austin Powers voice) ” Hey, Baby!”  This number is a must have for me, and it’s killing me to not buy it. This satin dress is from Fashion Nova, and they have a whole vintage category right now!

3. Polka Dots

Polka Dots are supposed to be hot this spring! Another vintage inspired trend! I love this co-op set from Dolls Kill! It looks vintage with the modern twist of it being a crop top co-op. I would match it with some nude tights and a sleek looking, duster jacket for a cute Easter look! (I can’t believe I’m talking about Easter right now.)

4. Mesh Statement Sleeves

Puffy, mesh, statement sleeves are a super elegant look right now. I love this top from SHEIN. The polka dots are almost confetti colored, adding a super fun element to a simple top. This would be an amazing party top. Maybe paired with some slightly flared, candy colored, bottoms and pointed toe, black, heels?

5. Leopard Print Bikini

For summer 2020 I already have a snake print bikini, so now (of course) I want a leopard print one! ASOS is my favorite spot for swim wear because you can actually find cute ones by bra size. I honestly don’t understand why more brands don’t make them by bra size. The whole small, medium, large thing rarely works for someone build like me. (Larger chest/smaller back)

6. Sheer Duster Cardigan

This super cute duster could be worn up or down. For a more casual look you could wear it with a satin & lace tank, jeans, and a simple waist belt. This dreamy duster can be found at Windsor. I would feel like a modern day princess in this!

7. Faux Leather Pants

Also from Windsor, these chic pants could be worn to work or to a girls night out! I would love to try out these pants with a mesh sleeved top! The bow on the front gives it an edgy, yet sweet & girly vibe. NEED.

8. Double-O Belt

I love a stylish belt. You’ve probably seen this type of belt everywhere on Instagram. It’s super versatile, looks great with high waisted bottoms, and can absolutely make an outfit. Simple white t-shirt & jeans? Add this belt from Urban Outfitters, and BAM! You FANCY! I’ve been needing another high waist belt. I’ll definitely have to grab this later!

Teddy coats are my favorite thing right now. It’s cold here in Pittsburgh, and if jackets that are basically blankets are fashionable, then I’m all in. I actually have this jacket in the color camel, but I want it in more colors because it’s so amazing. It’s the comfiest thing I’ve ever put on my body Please bury me in this when I die. You can get the most amazing jacket in the world on Amazon.

10. Corset Detail Body-Suit

I have been wanting a top like this for so wrong. I could never get what to call it down when searching for it. Was it a bustier top? A corset top? An underwire top? Luckily for me, Missguided knew exactly what I was looking for. This will definitely be in my cart sometime this year! I’m a slut for simple details.
